Henry Cheng

Henry Cheng has extensive experience in law and project management, having held various roles in prestigious firms including DLA Piper, White & Case, and Ask Jeeves, Inc. Notably, as a Partner at DLA Piper since April 2023, Cheng has led significant engagements such as advising an Indian multinational on a Bilateral Advance Pricing Agreement. Previous positions include serving as an Associate at White & Case, where Cheng specialized in intellectual property and tax controversy litigation, and acting as in-house legal counsel at Public Radio Capital. Cheng also has judicial experience, having clerked for the Honorable David Laro at the United States Tax Court. In addition to practice, Cheng shares expertise as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, teaching tax procedure and administrative practice. Educational qualifications include a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
