Jonathan Blackhurst

Jonathan Blackhurst is an experienced professional in risk management and compliance, currently serving as an Independent Member of the Audit and Risk Committee for Parkinson's UK and RNIB since 2018 and 2017, respectively. Jonathan has held prominent positions such as Head of Group Risk and Head of Risk and Compliance at De Beers Group, and Director of Risk and Compliance at Capita. With a solid foundation in risk analysis from earlier roles at Visa Europe and Protiviti, Jonathan's educational background includes a BTh in Theology, a Dip in Computer Science from the University of Oxford, an MSc in Risk Management from Glasgow Caledonian University, and certification in Quantitative Risk Management from IIPER. Additionally, participation in the AIRMIC Leadership Executive Study Programme further enhances Jonathan’s leadership capabilities in the field.
