Katherine Imp

Katherine Imp is a Partner in DLA Piper’s Transactional Media and Entertainment practice in Los Angeles, California, with over 14 years of experience in media law. They have represented media companies and brands in various aspects of media content, negotiating agreements for over 150 projects in film, television, and digital media. Previously, they served as an attorney at other prominent law firms and taught law courses at multiple institutions. Currently, Katherine teaches LAW 689: Digital Media Transactions as an adjunct professor at USC Gould School of Law. They hold a B.A. in Criminology & Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland College Park and a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law.
