Matthew Cole is the Head of Corporate at DLA Piper Ireland, where they advise Irish, UK, and international clients on public and private M&A and Equity Capital Markets transactions. They have led complex and high-profile M&A and private equity transactions across various sectors, including insurance and video games. With nearly 20 years of experience, Matthew is recognized as one of Ireland’s most experienced ECM practitioners and has authored multiple chapters on M&A and IPO law. Their previous roles include senior associate positions at Ashurst and Shearman & Sterling, as well as partnerships at A&L Goodbody and Mason Hayes & Curran. Matthew holds a degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
