Michael Ostrove

Michael Ostrove is a distinguished legal professional currently serving as a Partner and Global Co-Chair of International Arbitration at DLA Piper since November 2010, specializing in commercial and investment treaty arbitration. In addition, Michael holds the position of Vice President of the International Court of Arbitration at ICC Arbitration and serves as a member of the World Bank Sanctions Board. As a Lecturer in Law at Master 2 Droit International Économique - Paris II Panthéon-Assas, Michael teaches a practical course on international arbitration, integrating perspectives from both common and civil law. Previous experience includes serving as International Counsel at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP from 1995 to 2010 and as a Law Clerk for Federal District Judge Eugene H. Nickerson. Michael earned a JD from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and a BA, magna cum laude, in English Literature from Yale University.
