Sandra Appel is a partner at DLA Piper (Canada) LLP, bringing over three decades of experience in corporate and commercial law, focusing on corporate governance, secured financings, and restructuring. Previously, they were a partner at Morris Rose Ledgett and Davis LLP, where they managed the Toronto office for four years and contributed to its growth. Sandra has extensive expertise advising foreign companies on establishing Canadian businesses and navigating transactions with governmental authorities. They hold a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Toronto, a Juris Doctor from Western University, and a Master’s Degree in Business Law from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School.
