Aki Balogh has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Currently, they are the Co-Founder and CEO of dlc.link, where they have developed a platform that allows for self-custodied Bitcoin to be used safely in collateralized lending without the need for third-party intermediaries. Prior to this, Aki worked as a Business Development Advisor at Dakai Group, a blockchain and enterprise process automation software development agency. At Dakai, they contributed to numerous projects, including building the Chivo Bitcoin wallet for El Salvador and advising a large crypto mining company.
Aki also worked as an Advisor at Invisible Technologies Inc., an ops-as-a-service company, and as a Go-to-Market Strategist at Further Advisory. In addition, they served as a Board Member at MarketMuse, an AI-powered content intelligence platform, and was also one of the Co-Founders and CEO of MarketMuse from 2013 to 2020.
Before their roles in the technology sector, Aki worked as the Director of Sales & Marketing at InfiniDB, where they focused on enabling fast and scalable analytics on massive datasets. Aki also gained experience in the venture capital industry as an Associate at OpenView Venture Partners, evaluating investments and advocating for Big Data as an investment focus.
Aki's earlier experience includes working as an Associate at Family Equity Partners, where they evaluated investment opportunities in technology, healthcare, and energy services, and as an Associate at Diamond Management & Technology Consultants, where they specialized in data science and served clients such as AIG, Microsoft, and Wells Fargo.
In 2005, Aki founded the Europa Forum Conference Series, demonstrating their leadership and execution skills by successfully delivering three conferences with a team of 12 students.
