Charles Opata is currently the Global Risk & Compliance Officer at d.light, where they leverage over seven years of experience in internal and systems audit, internal control, and quality management to enhance the effectiveness of the internal control environment. They have held previous roles, including Internal Auditor at Davis & Shirtliff and One Acre Fund. Charles possesses an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Nairobi, a BCom in Accounts from Kisii University, and is a certified CPA. They are dedicated to supporting d.light's vision of delivering affordable and clean energy solutions to millions in the developing world.
