Ihsane Himmi

Ihsane Himmi is currently the Managing Director for Morocco at dLocal, a position held since October 2021. Prior to this role, Ihsane served as Managing Director at Maroc Numeric Cluster from June 2020 to October 2021, and worked as a Private Sector Development Consultant for the World Bank Group from October 2017 to October 2021. With entrepreneurial experience as the Founder and CEO of FREYA from May 2014 to January 2018, Ihsane also held the role of Information Technology Specialist at the International Monetary Fund between January 2011 and March 2014. Earlier in the career, Ihsane completed a traineeship as a Young Mediterranean Ambassador at the European Investment Bank and worked as a Financial Communication Analyst at the Conseil deontologique des valeurs mobilieres. The professional journey began at the Direction de l'Invesstissement Exterieur as a Project Coordinator. Academically, Ihsane is pursuing a Certificate in Fintech at Harvard Business School and holds a Master's in Management from SKEMA Business School, as well as an MBA from the Asian Institute of Technology.
