Marcio Gonzalez

Marcio Gonzalez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data engineering, management, and platform architecture. Currently serving as the Head of Platform and previously as Platform & Data Manager at dLocal since July 2020, Marcio has overseen various teams including Data Engineer, BI, DBA, Reporting, and DevOps. Prior experience includes roles as Data Architect Manager and Data Team Lead at GEOCOM Uruguay S.A. from December 2016 to June 2020, and a production DBA role at Foto Martin from March 2013 to November 2016. Marcio held the position of Systems Chief at both Clanilux S.A. and Bilboard Computacion, contributing a wealth of expertise from January 2005 to February 2012 and March 1998 to December 2004, respectively. Marcio holds a degree in Analista Programador from Universidad ORT Uruguay, completed between 2000 and 2004.
