Chris Taylor

Chris Taylor serves as the Designer and Director of Design Technology (BIM) + Innovation at PVG Architects, overseeing firm-wide design technology initiatives and leading numerous building projects across various sectors. With expertise in BIM and advanced technologies, Chris also works as a technical consultant and sales engineer at FARO Technologies, supporting cutting-edge construction technology. Prior experiences include roles as BIM Manager and Certified 3D Laser Scanning Expert at DLR Group, Designer/Owner at ct|design, and Project Designer at Gensler. Chris's background also encompasses sustainability leadership at Shive-Hattery, energy efficiency research at Iowa State University, and teaching positions at Oregon State University. Chris holds a Master’s in Architecture from Iowa State University, alongside degrees from Oregon State University in Interior Design and Housing.
