Joshua Gray

Joshua Gray is an accomplished researcher and engineer with comprehensive experience in combustion technology and engineering applications. Beginning with a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Joshua furthered studies with a Master’s in Physikalische Ingenieurwissenschaft and a Doctorate in Engineering Science from Technische Universität Berlin, graduating summa cum laude. Professional roles include an Engineering Intern at Solar Turbines and Robert Bosch, followed by significant research positions as an NRC Research Associate at the National Academy of Sciences and a Postdoctoral Fellow at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. Currently, Joshua serves as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at the German Aerospace Center, focusing on high-pressure combustion experiments for sustainable energy solutions. Contributions to various projects encompass experimental methods for combustion characterization, ignition processes enhancement, and technologies related to rotating detonation engines.
