Marie Treperman is currently the Head of Science Communications at the Institute of Transport Research at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), where they focus on strategic communication and the public dissemination of research related to sustainable transport and mobility. Since 2015, Marie has also provided freelance social science research and translation services, collaborating with various clients, including publishers and public policy consultancies. Their previous experiences include roles as Head of Communications at Kontist and as an International News Editor at newsfirst, as well as internships in social science research and communications.
