Rita Cyganski is an experienced professional in the field of urban mobility and transportation research, having held key positions at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V. Rita served as Team Leader for "Modelling Urban Mobility" from 2013 to October 2015 and as Team Leader for "Mobility Behavior and Urban Structures" from 2018 to 2021, focusing on research project management, demand modelling, and urban mobility analysis. Prior to these roles, Rita was Group Head for "Rethinking Neighborhoods and Transport Infrastructures" at DLR, where significant expertise in activity-based demand modelling and software development was garnered.
