Teo Beker

Teo Beker is an accomplished researcher with a strong background in geoinformatics and aerospace engineering. Teo has held positions such as Researcher at the Institute of Lowland Forestry and Environment, where responsibilities included developing neural networks for big data analysis, setting up big data systems, and creating a WebGIS platform. Currently, Teo serves as a Research Associate at the German Aerospace Center, focusing on deep learning techniques for volcanic deformation detection. Teo's educational qualifications include a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and two master's degrees in Geoinformatics Engineering and Geodesy and Geomatics from Politecnico di Milano and the University of Novi Sad, respectively. Prior experience includes diverse roles in various hospitality institutions in the USA while completing studies.
