Ulf Herzer

Ulf Herzer is the Director and Chief Officer of Finance and General Operations at the German Space Agency, overseeing a team of 88 employees and managing a budget of approximately 1.7 billion euros. With extensive experience in the international nonprofit sector, Ulf has held prominent roles, including Finance Director at the International Rescue Committee and Director of Finance and Corporate Services at the International Paralympic Committee. Ulf's academic background includes a Master’s degree from the University of St. Gallen and studies in a Ph.D. program at the same institution. Throughout their career, Ulf has demonstrated expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and implementation of international accounting standards.
