Xiaozhou Luo

Research Fellow

Xiaozhou Luo has a diverse background in engineering and robotics, with experience in both translation and research roles. At SIMON PROtec Systems GmbH, Xiaozhou translated German technical manuals into Chinese for approval processes. Subsequently, at the German Aerospace Center, involvement included a semester thesis on mobile assistant robots, along with work on multi-sensory interfaces and a master's thesis focused on decentralized multi-modal SLAM frameworks. Currently serving as a Research Fellow at Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V., responsibilities include generating semantic 3D maps for navigation in dynamic environments. Additional roles encompass academic support and research assistance at Technische Universität München, where Xiaozhou earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in relevant fields.
