David Baker

David Baker has a diverse work experience in the technology and database management field. David started their career as a Membership Coordinator at DMA UK in October 2008, where they focused on membership renewals and database management. During this time, they improved the renewal process by streamlining and writing new SQL queries.

In October 2011, David transitioned to the role of Membership Project Manager at DMA UK. In this position, they oversaw the development of the CRM system, ensured data quality, and managed supplier relationships related to the website and database. David also handled ongoing membership projects, such as building the latest version of the membership directory and synchronizing the CRM application with other software used in the association.

In August 2014, David was promoted to Technology Manager at DMA UK. Here, they took responsibility for maintaining and administrating all IT, CRM, and CMS systems. David oversaw supplier relationships and implemented new hardware and software for the DMA group. Additionally, David built and maintained essential business intelligence reports.

Alongside their tenure at DMA UK, David worked as a Database Administrator on a temporary contract at Essex County Council from February 2008 to August 2008.

David Baker attended the University for the Creative Arts from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism. In terms of additional certifications, they completed the Data Analyst with Python Track at DataCamp in October 2021 and the Data Scientist with Python Track at DataCamp in February 2021. David also obtained a certification in Data Science with Python from General Assembly in April 2020 and completed the Advanced SQL for Data Scientists course on LinkedIn in December 2019.
