Shawn Eckert

Shawn Eckert has extensive experience in the fields of business consulting, process improvement, strategy development, program management, financial modeling, and employee recruiting and onboarding. Shawn began their career in 1994 as an Internal Auditor at American Express. In 1996, they became the Director of Finance at Hypercom, where they oversaw the financial reporting and compliance measures for the US Point Of Sale (POS) market. Shawn then moved to IFS in 1999, where they were the Director | Aviation, Rail & Defense Industry Solutions. In 2004, they launched Excion, a business consulting practice that employed over twelve consultants with nearly $5 million in billing in just under 8 years. In 2012, they became the Managing Director of St. Charles Consulting Group. In 2014, they were a Contract Chief Operating Officer at Integrated Healthcare Management. In 2018, they were the Chief Operating Officer at DMC Strategic IT and the Senior Consultant at C. MYERS CORPORATION. Shawn is currently the Owner | Principal Consultant at Excion, where they provide leadership to teams transforming business with cloud-based solutions, responsive change management, and visible, efficient processes.

Shawn Eckert obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in 1993. Shawn then obtained a Certified Public Accountant qualification from the AZ Board of Accountancy in January 1995. Shawn then went on to obtain an MBA in Finance and an MCPM in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University in 2000.
