Rakesh Patel

Rakesh Patel, CPA, CA, is a partner at DMCL Chartered Professional Accountants in the Audit and Assurance Group, where they provide auditing and assurance services to publicly listed companies and private enterprises. With extensive knowledge of Canadian and U.S. securities rules, Rakesh specializes in initial public offerings, prospectuses, mergers, and acquisitions, primarily serving clients in the mining, oil and gas, manufacturing, real estate development, biotech, and high-tech industries. Rakesh also serves on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer for Operation Rainbow Canada, collaborating with medical professionals to offer free reconstructive surgery to children in developing countries. Prior to their current role, Rakesh worked as a Principal at Davidson & Company and as a Staff Accountant at Ellis Foster. Rakesh earned a BBA in Accounting from Simon Fraser University and obtained their CPA, CA designation from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
