René Schüler

René Schüler has a diverse work experience in the solar energy industry. René currently holds the position of Head of Product Marketing Europe at DMEGC Solar - Hengdian Group, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at IBC SOLAR AG from 2014 to 2023, holding various roles including Senior Product Manager in the Solar Modules Division, Senior Product Manager, and Product Manager in the Solar Modules division. Before joining IBC SOLAR AG, they served as a Graduate Assistant in the Diagnostic solar group at the Fraunhofer-Center für Silizium-Photovoltaik CSP from April 2014 to October 2014. René also gained work experience as a Working student in R&D at Bosch Solar Energy AG from May 2011 to January 2012.

René Schüler completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Renewable Energy Technology from Hochschule Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences in 2012. René then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering from the same university, graduating in 2014. As part of their studies, they also participated in an exchange semester in 2013 at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, focusing on Renewable Energy.

In terms of additional certifications, René Schüler obtained a Six Sigma Yellow Belt from TÜV SÜD in November 2016. Furthermore, in November 2019, they achieved the IPMA-Level D certification as a Certified Project Management Associate from GPM Deutsche Gesellschaft für Projektmanagement e.V.
