Jose Mojica

Machine Design Engineering Lead at DMG MORI USA

Jose Mojica has a diverse work experience, starting from 2001 as a Mechanical Engineer and Field Operations Supervisor at UC Davis. In this role, they supervised field operations for a network of visibility sites and managed a team of engineers. Jose then joined DMG MORI USA in 2016 as a Machine Design Engineering Lead, where they supported existing designs and contributed to the development of new machine models. Currently, at the University of California, Davis, they serve as the Engineering Student Design Center Manager, overseeing operations and providing support to staff, faculty, and student competition teams.

Jose Mojica earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biological systems engineering from the University of California, Davis. Jose then obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University-Sacramento. Jose also has a certification as a Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) from Dassault Systèmes.
