Karl Dirckx has a diverse range of work experience. Karl began their career in 1987 at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, where they held the role of DS10. Karl then moved on to Rank Group as an Assistant Financial Accountant from 1990 to 1994. After that, they worked at Johnson & Higgins as a Management Accountant from 1994 to 1997. Karl then joined Express Newspapers as a Financial Analyst from 1998 to 2000. In 2001, they transitioned to dmg media, where they became the Head of Finance, Editorial Operations for Mail Newspapers. In the same year, they also took on the role of Financial Controller at Daily Mail.
Karl Dirckx attended Nunthorpe Comprehensive from 1980 to 1985, where they studied for O Levels. Following their time at Nunthorpe, they enrolled at South Park VI Form College from 1985 to 1987.
