Christian Thönes

Christian Thönes has been a Director at DMG Mori since 2016. Prior to that, they were a Vorstandsmitglied GILDEMEISTER AG (now DMG Mori AG) from 2012 to 2016, responsible for product development, production, and technology. From 2009 to 2011, they were the Managing Director DECKEL MAHO Pfronten GmbH. Christian was also the Geschäftsführer SAUER GmbH from 2001 to 2009, responsible for building the Advanced Technologies Ultrasonic and Lasertec. Prior to that, they held various management positions at DMG MORI Aktiengesellschaft from 1998 to 2001.

Christian Thönes has a degree in business administration from the University of Münster.
