Kathy Spangler

Kathy Spangler is an experienced accountant currently working at DMJPS PLLC since January 2022, previously serving as a tax intern. Prior to this role, Kathy held multiple accounting intern positions from June to September 2021 with various companies including ABS Commercial, SEA TURTLE HOLDINGS, Atlantic Brew Supply, Atlantic Process Solutions, and Raleigh Brewing Company, focusing on maintaining accounts payable in QuickBooks through invoice and receipt entries, bank transfers, and credit card reconciliations. Earlier experience includes working as a produce clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market and various culinary roles at Carolina Ale House. Additionally, Kathy worked as an SQA Tester at Sageworks, contributing to financial and CPA software testing, and served as an assistant bookkeeper for James L. Spangler, CPA. Kathy holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Accounting with a Minor in Finance from Meredith College and has an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management from Wake Technical Community College.
