Michalis A. Michael has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 1997, they served as the Managing Director for Poland, Ukraine, and Belarus at MEMRB, where they had full P&L responsibility and provided consumer research and retail audit services. Michalis A. then joined Synovate in 2001, first as the Managing Director for Central Europe & Russia, overseeing 12 countries, and later as the Executive Vice President and Head of ViewsNet, where they established and managed the growth of the global online and panels division. Michalis A. joined RGIS in 2006 as the Managing Director, leading the company until 2010. Michalis A. subsequently became the Managing Director for Western Europe at MASMI Research Group from 2010 to 2012. Since 2010, Michalis A. Michael has been the CEO of DMR, a company that offers AI driven business insights and works with top-tier corporates and agencies in various research areas, such as customer journey optimization and text analytics.
Michalis A. Michael completed their Masters (Dipl.-Ing.) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin from 1985 to 1991. In 1982 to 1983, they attended the Officers' Academy and obtained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force, with a focus on Military Studies. Later, in 2003, they participated in the YPO Entrepreneurial Growth Seminar at the London Business School, and in 2004 to 2010, they obtained Certificates of Participation from the Harvard Business School, specifically from the YPO President's Seminar.
