Knut Ansgar Hirsch has extensive experience in marketing and communications within the raw materials, mining, and infrastructure industries. Knut Ansgar is currently the Chief Marketing Officer and Vice Chairman of the NGO RawMaterialKnowledge, where they aim to promote neutral and scientifically based information about raw material projects. Knut Ansgar previously served as the Head of Marketing and Communications at the Association of Mining, Geology and Environment, where they provided support and advice to members in the mining and raw materials sector. Prior to that, they held various positions at DMT GmbH & Co. KG, including Director of Marketing and Communications and Head of B2B Marketing Communications Consulting. In these roles, they led the development of national and international marketing strategies, brand positioning, and communication campaigns. Knut Ansgar was also involved in research projects, international strategy development, and network community management. Throughout their career, Knut has demonstrated expertise in marketing, communication, business development, and project management.

Knut Ansgar Hirsch holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing and Sales from FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management. Knut Ansgar also earned a Bachelor's Degree in E-Commerce and Online Marketing from the University of Applied Sciences - International School for Advanced Study in Information Technology. Additionally, they obtained an IT-Professional certification in Information Technology from the same institution.
