David Shaw

David Shaw has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. David is currently employed at DN Colleges Group as the Head of Adult Workforce Development, where they oversee the delivery of fully funded and commercial industrial courses to employers and their teams. Prior to this role, they served as the Group Operations Manager (Workforce Development) for DN Colleges Group, managing the Workforce Development department and delivering various training programs. Before joining DN Colleges Group, David was the Operations Coordinator at North Lindsey College, responsible for managing the Workforce Development department and delivering training programs funded by SSW and AEB. David also worked as a National Team Leader/IQA at Gateshead College and as a Training/Operations Manager at TTP (The Training Partnership). David has prior experience as a Training Officer at carter and carter group and as a Machine Operator/Warehouse Manager at DORMER TOOLS Sheffield (UK) Ltd. David began their career in the mining industry, starting as a Mining Engineer Apprentice and progressing to roles such as Chargehand hard rock Driller, methane borer, and locomotive driver at the National Coal Board.
