Kassem Chammout

Kassem Chammout has diverse work experience in different roles and industries. Kassem is currently a Project Engineer at DN Tanks, starting in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant Project Manager Intern at Brothers Construction LLC from May 2020 to August 2021, where they monitored and controlled cost, schedule, and quality for construction projects. Kassem also provided daily direction to employees and ensured job duties were executed safely and effectively.

Kassem has also worked as a 2G Liaison at Architectural Representative Com from September 2020 to January 2021. Additionally, they gained experience as the owner of Retro8 Photography from August 2017 to August 2020, where they focused on using photography to tell the stories of middle-class workers in cities like Detroit.

Furthermore, Kassem served as an Undergraduate Liaison at Architectural Representative Committee from September 2018 to May 2020. Kassem also participated in a Spring Externship at The Collaborative in March 2019.

Kassem Chammout began their education in 2014 at Lawrence Technological University, where they studied architecture until 2017. In 2018, they transferred to the University of Michigan and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture in 2020. Kassem continued their education at the University of Michigan, earning a Master of Architecture degree from 2020 to 2022. In addition to their formal education, Kassem also briefly attended Schoolcraft College in 2018 to study Fine Arts.
