Jenny Shepherd

Jenny Shepherd is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Engineering Development Manager at DNA Electronics (DNAe) since May 2024, where leadership encompasses a team of over 20 multidisciplinary engineers focused on developing a DNA sequencing platform and sepsis diagnostic cartridge. Previously, from September 2018 to May 2024, Jenny held multiple roles at Cambridge Design Partnership, including Senior Consultant and Point of Care Diagnostics Lead, overseeing projects and teams in the point-of-care diagnostics sector, as well as leading significant multidisciplinary projects within medical and diagnostic device development. Earlier experience includes a position as a Consultant Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer, where Jenny directed medical device projects spanning drug delivery and diagnostics, including concepting, feasibility testing, design, and prototype development. Jenny holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from the University of Cambridge, earned in 2018.
