William Hume

William Hume has work experience in the field of quality assurance and quality control in the medical device industry. William started working at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics in 2018 as a Pre-Production Quality Control Analyst, where they led and assisted new products into the market while adhering to FDA regulations and ISO standards. William'sresponsibilities included project management, training new recruits, data analysis, and communication. William worked at DNA Electronics (DNAe) starting in 2021 as a QA Engineer, focusing on implementing the eQMS system for the development and manufacturing of IVDR Medical Devices. William created standard operating procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements and had knowledge of FDA CFR Part 21, ISO13485, and ISO14005. William later transitioned to the role of Design Quality Engineer.

William Hume completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences, General from the University of Westminster. William attended the university from 2014 to 2017. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained an ISO13485 Internal Auditor certification from BSI in January 2023.
