Doug Newman

Doug Newman has extensive experience in supply chain management and financial oversight, currently serving as the Supply Chain Process Improvement Manager at DNA Genotek since January 2021. Prior roles include Accounts Payable Manager and Project Improvement Lead at The Ottawa Hospital, where Doug led various cost-saving initiatives. As Supply Chain Manager at Nanometrics and Abbott Point of Care, Doug developed inventory policies, managed integrated capacity models, and supervised purchasing and planning teams. Additional expertise stems from positions at Boeing Canada, Kott Lumber, and the Ottawa Rough Riders, where Doug implemented financial streamlining processes and prepared financial statements. Doug's education includes training from APICS and Algonquin College Management Centre.
