Jarkko Laaksonen

Jarkko Laaksonen has a wide range of experience in quality assurance and testing roles. Jarkko worked for DNA Oy as the Head of Department Quality Assurance, where they led a team of 40 software testing professionals and managed functional and non-functional testing activities, test automation, and security testing. Prior to that, they worked at Q-Factory Oy as a Leading Testing Consultant, overseeing quality assurance tasks, test tool configuration, defect handling, and reporting in customers' integration and software projects. At Nokia, Jarkko served as a Project Lead/Meego, responsible for test management in a global testing project, including project management, test process development, and resource planning. Jarkko also worked as a Testing Specialist/Meego, defining test processes and quality improvements and conducting trainings for testing personnel. Additionally, Jarkko gained experience at Nokia Oy as a Build and Integration Manager, managing a testing team and handling resource, time schedule, and quality planning for software testing projects. Jarkko started their career at Endero Oy as a Test Automation and Process Development Consultant, focusing on test automation, software testing, and test tool consultancy. Lastly, at Nokia Siemens Networks, Jarkko served as a Competence Manager and Testing Specialist, where they were responsible for planning and designing functionality testing test environments, scheduling automation for ongoing testing projects, and managing integration and verification development groups.

Jarkko Laaksonen obtained a BSc. in Telecommunication Technic from Riihimäki Polytechnic, where they studied from 1997 to 2000.
