Timo Palokankare

Timo Palokankare has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Timo is currently the Network & Security Deliveries Team Lead at DNA Oyj, a position they have held since October 2020. Prior to their current role, they worked as a Sales Team Lead at Fonecta Oy from December 2015 to November 2019. In this role, they managed a team of 8-12 salespersons, oversaw sales campaigns, and participated in department-level projects. Before that, Timo worked as a Technical Project Manager at doop dmp Oy from March 2012 to December 2015, where they were involved in product and project management and coordinated operations with stakeholders. As an Entrepreneur, they founded and managed Web End Interactive from June 2006 to September 2014. Timo also worked as a Technical Project Manager at KWD Digital from January 2011 to March 2012 and as a Digimedia Designer at Advertising Agency SST from September 2008 to June 2010. Timo started their career as a Sales Consultant at DNA Palvelut Oy from May 2006 to January 2008, where they handled B2C sales, managed product stock, and provided customer service.

Timo Palokankare holds a Master's Degree in Work Informatics/Information Systems from the University of Turku, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. Timo also has a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the same university, earned between 2004 and 2010. Prior to that, Timo completed their A-level studies in Information Technology and Media at Kupittaa High School from 2001 to 2004. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Management at the Turku University of Applied Sciences. In terms of certifications, Timo has acquired various qualifications, including the ITIL Foundation Level certification from PeopleCert and The Foundation Certificate in Project Management from Projektiammattilaiset PRY, Project Professionals Finland. Timo also holds several other certifications such as Delivering an Authentic Elevator Pitch, How to Be Both Assertive and Likable, and Digimediamyyjän sertifikaatti (Digital Media Sales Certificate).
