James Reid

James Reid is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations management and leadership. Currently serving as Director at dnata since September 2025, James previously held the position of Head of Flow Operations at Frasers Group, where a state-of-the-art Flow Room was established in a significant distribution center. Prior to that, James was a Sales Manager at Amazon, leading EU marketplace recruitment and consistently exceeding revenue targets. James's career began in the Royal Navy, spanning over 17 years, with roles including Senior Operations Manager overseeing submarine special operations, Commanding Officer of a £1 billion nuclear submarine, and various key positions that developed leadership and operational expertise. James holds a Foundation degree in Naval Science and Operational Studies from the University of Plymouth and a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology and Pre-history from The University of Sheffield, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Navigation.
