Tim Walker

Tim Walker is the current VP of Commercial & Business Development for dnata Airport Operations in Dubai. Previously, they worked as a Retail Account Manager for Gate Gourmet from December 2008 to December 2011. In this role, they were responsible for developing business processes and revenue management tools to streamline operations and increase model profitability for a $25M per annum business. Tim successfully implemented a streamlined operational model that saved the company approximately AUD 750K per year.

In addition to their work at Gate Gourmet, Tim has also participated in the Inflight Logistic Taskforce to review current levels of business and implement strategies to improve performance. Tim has supported the development of strategic initiatives and vision in conjunction with Managing Directors in various companies. Within 12 months of joining Gate Gourmet, they were recognized as a member of the Asia Pacific Talent Program.

Tim’s experience and success in various roles have led him to their current position as VP of Commercial & Business Development for dnata Airport Operations in Dubai. In this role, they are responsible for leading the commercial team and developing new business opportunities to drive growth for the company.

Tim Walker has completed an Executive Leadership Development Program (ELDP) at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School. Tim also has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Air Transportation Management from Swinburne University of Technology and a Bachelor of Business in Management and Finance from Swinburne University of Technology. Tim also has certification from LinkedIn in Executive Decision Making, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Strategic Agility.
