Willy Ruf

Willy Ruf serves as the Managing Director and Member of the Board of Directors at dnata since September 2023, overseeing operations at dnata Switzerland AG with locations in Zurich and Geneva, consisting of approximately 1,200 employees. Prior to this role, Willy Ruf was the General Manager at Wisser Service Holding Schweiz AG from September 2021 to August 2023, where responsibilities included expanding corporate activities in Switzerland while leading operations in Austria. Willy Ruf also held significant positions at Swissport from 2003 to 2023, culminating in the role of Senior Vice President & CEO for Central & Eastern Europe, managing operations across multiple markets and leading up to 8,000 employees. Educational qualifications include multiple Executive MBA degrees from the University at Albany and the Graduate School of Business Administration Zurich, along with a Bachelor's degree and a Betriebsökonom diploma from Kaufmännisches Lehrinstitut Zürich.
