Birthe Sønning is a finance professional with extensive experience in banking, energy, and management consulting. Currently serving as the EVP of Strategy at DNB, Norway’s largest commercial bank, Birthe leads initiatives in strategy, sustainability, and data management. With a Master of Science in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from NTNU and studies at UC Berkeley, Birthe is dedicated to transforming businesses for a sustainable and profitable future. Additionally, Birthe is a board member of the Norwegian-British Chamber of Commerce. Past roles include Principal Consultant at DNB Consulting and various positions at PA Consulting Group.
