Nikhil Atreya

Nikhil Atreya is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in quantitative modeling and risk management. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor in Portfolio Management at DNB since November 2016, Nikhil focuses on RWA management, capital optimization in Corporate Banking, and the implementation of pricing models. Nikhil also holds the position of Adjunct Associate Professor at the Norwegian School of Economics, teaching Masters level courses in risk management and data science. Previously, Nikhil worked as a Senior Risk Officer in Market and Counterparty Credit Risk Management at DNB, and as a Quantitative Manager at Macquarie Group, where responsibilities included managing a sales team and conducting internal validations of financial models. Nikhil's educational background includes a BSc and MSc from Columbia University, followed by a PhD in Financial Mathematics from the Norwegian School of Economics.
