Amelia K.

Amelia K. began their career in 2007 as a Communication Services Intern for the Park Hill School District. Amelia then worked as a Foreign Language Lab Supervisor and Administrative Assistant for the Department of Education at William Jewell College from 2005-2007. In 2008, they held positions as an Advertising Copywriter for the Liberty Symphony Orchestra and a Litigation Project Manager - Medical Malpractice Defense for Horn Aylward & Bandy, LLC. Later that year, they became a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator for Maemura and Company CPAs LLP, where they implemented marketing and business development strategies to rebrand the company and bolster the firm's reputation among emerging markets. From 2012-2014, they held positions as a Business Development and Client Experience Coordinator and Legal Marketing Assistant for Spencer Fane Britt & Browne, LLP. During this time, they also worked as an Assistant to the Vice President of Development and Donor Services for the San Francisco Foundation. In 2016, they became a Development and Donor Services Specialist for Positive Coaching Alliance. Most recently, they have been working as an Events and Community Engagement Manager for The Bush School since 2018, where they work with the Advancement Team, Head of School, Board of Trustees, parents, faculty, friends, and corporate donors to create meaningful opportunities for community engagement. Amelia also plans and executes fundraising events and campaigns. Currently, Amelia K. is a Project Manager - Digital Fundraising Services for DNL OmniMedia, Inc., a boutique digital agency helping nonprofits maximize technology for social good. In this role, they help clients use technology to meet their fundraising and marketing goals.

Amelia K. obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree from William Jewell College in 2008, majoring in Organizational Communication, Applied Critical Thought & Inquiry, and Spanish. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from the Yoga Alliance (RYT-200 in 2017), American Health Association (Adult-Child-Infant CPR/AED and Standard First Aid for the Community/Workplace in 2014), and Sandler Training Effective Development Inc. (Sandler Sales Professional Certification in 2012).
