Ahmad Jawad

Ahmad Jawad has a diverse work experience. Ahmad started their career in 2010 as a Programme Manager at Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD), where they worked towards achieving sustainable political change in emerging democracies. At WFD, they focused on strengthening political parties, parliaments, and civil society institutions.

In 2008, Ahmad joined Compass-iss as a Local Manager, and they held this position until 2012.

Their most recent role was as a Human Resources Manager at DNO Iraq AS Kurdistan, which they started in November 2012. In this role, Ahmad was in charge of various HR functions such as recruitment, hiring, training, performance management, and policy recommendation. Ahmad also ensured that all HR practices were in line with Iraqi/Kurdistan labor law. Additionally, they worked on a non-HR project as a part of the land compensation team.

Overall, Ahmad Jawad has a well-rounded background in HR management, program management, and democracy-building.

Ahmad Jawad's education history begins in 1994 when they attended Barzani Namir High School and completed their secondary education in the scientific field in the year 2000. Ahmad then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in English Language and Literature, General from the college of Art -English department from 2000 to 2004. Afterward, they furthered their education by attending the University of Picardie Jules Verne from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration (Human Resource).
