James Bailey

James Bailey is a seasoned geoscientist with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as a Senior Geologist at DNO ASA since November 2020. Prior to this role, James held several positions at Repsol from July 2005 to July 2020, including Senior Geoscientist roles focusing on UK exploration opportunities and New Ventures across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia, where project evaluation and management were key responsibilities. Notable achievements include leadership of the Norwegian North Sea Exploration Team and significant contributions to successful bidding rounds in the Norwegian Sea. Earlier career as a Geologist and Data Engineer at Geoservices involved operational data management on oil and gas platforms. James holds a Master of Science in Petroleum Geoscience from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Leeds.
