Senior Project Engineer at DNO ASA

Akhilesh Babu, PMP® LSSGB CFPS® CRP, has a diverse work experience in the engineering industry. Akhilesh started their career at Veolia Water as a Testing and Commissioning Engineer. Later, they worked at Control & Applications Emirates as a Project Engineer, where they were responsible for various tasks including cable scheduling, procurement, and coordination with vendors.

After that, they joined OSMAK Engineering and Contracting LLC as an E&I Engineer, where they reviewed engineering procedures, managed project controls, and prepared material submittals.

Subsequently, they worked at SILVERTECH ME FZCO (ROCKWELL AUTOMATION) for several years. Initially, they served as an Instrumentation Engineer, designing and selecting industrial process instruments. Later, they became an Offshore Installation Manager, overseeing profitability, contract management, and resource deployment.

Currently, Akhilesh is working at DNO ASA as a Senior Project Engineer. In this role, they lead and manages projects from concept to completion, prepares project plans, and coordinates a team of engineers to ensure a safe and cost-effective design.

Akhilesh Babu, PMP® LSSGB CFPS® CRP, received a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, graduating in 2010.

Additionally, Akhilesh has obtained multiple certifications, including:

- Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in May 2020.

- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from TÜV SÜD in June 2020.

- Certified Reliability Engineering Professional from TÜV SÜD in August 2020.

- T-BOSIET certification from OPITO in January 2019.

- CERTIFIED FIRE PROTECTION SPECIALIST (CFPS) certification from NFPA in January 2018.

- CERTIFIED CONSTRUCTION MANAGER (CCM) certification from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) in June 2017.

- Yokogawa Certified in Centum VP & CS 3000 DCS certification from Yokogawa in July 2014.
