Aristeidis Chatzopoulos

Aristeidis Chatzopoulos is an expert in wind energy technology with extensive experience at DNV, where current roles include Head of Turbine Engineering and Head of Department for Systems & Offshore Structures within the Renewables Advisory division. Specializing in wind energy advisory services, Chatzopoulos focuses on areas such as offshore and onshore wind technologies, LCoE analysis, and wind farm life extension. Previous positions include leadership in loads aerodynamics and control, along with foundational roles at Garrad Hassan and research at SUPERGEN Wind. Chatzopoulos holds a PhD in Engineering with a specialization in wind turbine control from the University of Strathclyde, an MSc in Engineering from the same institution, and a BSc in Automation/Control Engineering from the Technological Education Institute of Piraeus. Additionally, Chatzopoulos completed an executive education program at INSEAD in 2019.
