Janise Qiu

Janise Qiu has extensive experience in financial management and accounting, currently serving as an Assistant Business Controller and Project Financial Controller at DNV since April 2014. In this role, Janise supports over 40 project managers and Directors by leading financial management and project reviews, providing weekly financial reports, and presenting monthly profit and loss statements. Janise is responsible for analyzing costs and revenues for more than 400 renewable projects and ensuring proper revenue recognition. Prior experience includes serving as an Accountant at M&M Footwear Inc, where Janise managed full accounting cycles, prepared financial reports, and coordinated internal audits, as well as a Senior Membership Services Marketing Assistant at SAFRA National Service Association, focusing on membership recruitment and marketing initiatives. Janise holds a Master's Degree in Accounting from McGill University and a Bachelor's Degree in International Business from the University of Ottawa.
