Johnny Toong Yew Keong

Johnny Toong Yew Keong is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in electrical surveying and engineering, currently serving as a Principal Engineer/Surveyor at DNV since April 2023. Prior to this role, Johnny worked at Det Norske Veritas as a Senior Electrical Surveyor from February 2012 to April 2023, overseeing site surveys for various marine vessels, including shuttle tankers and drillships. Previously, Johnny held positions as an Electrical Surveyor/Approval Engineer from October 2007 to February 2012, where responsibilities included site surveying and approval engineering for diverse offshore vessels. Early career experience includes roles as a Service Engineer Electrical at Caterpillar Inc. and as an Assistant QA Engineer at Terasaki Electric Far East Singapore. Johnny holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and has foundational educational qualifications from Nan Hua Secondary and Primary Schools.
