Maged Adel Msc.

Maged Adel MSc. is an experienced offshore structural engineer currently working at DNV since November 2022, specializing in site-specific assessments for offshore jack-up platforms, project management, and in-service analyses among other areas related to fluid-structure interactions and cyclic degradation assessments. Prior to this, Maged held roles as an MSc student and research engineer at TWI, focusing on hydrodynamically driven fractures in engineering applications for the oil and gas sector. Maged's background includes project engineering at Almohandes for construction, where oversight of contractor installations was a key responsibility, and a position as a junior field engineer at Halliburton. Maged holds a Master’s degree in Oil and Gas Engineering from Brunel University and the National Structure Integrity Research Centre (NSIRC), along with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Al-Azhar University, complemented by online courses in simulation engineering from Cornell University and reservoir geomechanics from Stanford University.
