Saul Algar

Saul Algar is a highly experienced engineer specializing in safety and risk management within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Head of Section and Principal Engineer at DNV since July 2014, key responsibilities include managing global FLACS CFD projects, conducting quantitative risk assessments, and supporting incident investigations. Previous roles at GL Noble Denton involved similar technical engineering tasks and participation in incident investigation teams. Early career experiences include project management of biogas systems at British Sugar and significant contributions to pharmaceuticals at AstraZeneca. Additionally, Saul has a foundation in research and development from Procter & Gamble. Saul holds a Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Loughborough University.
