Tom Erik Tjonneland

Tom Erik Tjonneland is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in engineering and technology, currently serving as the Head of Global Engineering for DNV's Veracity platform since January 2003. Tjonneland oversees the development and operation of a data platform and the creation of industry applications that facilitate digital transformation in the Maritime and Energy sectors. Previous roles include leading various analytics and application service units within DNV, as well as significant contributions as a software architect and project manager. In addition to DNV, Tjonneland is a board member of the BI & Analytics group at Den Norske Dataforening and has experience as a lecturer at Oslo University College. Tjonneland holds multiple executive education credentials, including programs from the University of Michigan and INSEAD, and a degree from Oslo and Akershus University College.
