Cara Gray

Cara Gray has diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Cara currently works as a Certified Professional Retirement Coach at Good Morning Freedom, where they help individuals design a vibrant and fulfilling retirement lifestyle. Prior to this, Cara served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Do What Matters, a strategic management consultancy focused on transformative talent management solutions. Cara also worked as a Content Producer at the same company, contributing to the development of solution-focused inclusion program designs. Before joining Do What Matters, Cara established their own consulting business called Cara Gray Consulting, where they served as a Digital Business Manager.

Cara's entrepreneurial journey began in 2017 when they founded Instagram For Real, a hyperlocal digital marketing agency for real estate brokers, commercial realtors, construction companies, and design firms. Cara successfully scaled the business, managed a team, and delivered impactful Instagram marketing strategies to their clients.

Cara's earlier career includes executive assistant roles at Shapiro+Raj, Epsilon Agency Services, Hypermarketing Inc., Havas, and DDB Chicago. Cara provided executive support to high-level executives, showcasing their organizational skills and attention to detail. Additionally, during their time in Sweden, Cara worked as a freelancer in several orchestras, learned Swedish, and volunteered at a senior citizen center. Overall, Cara's diverse experiences demonstrate their adaptability and expertise in various fields.

Cara Gray's education history begins with their high school education at Interlochen Arts Academy from 1987 to 1989, where they studied music. Cara then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Performance at the University of Southern California from 1989 to 1993.

In addition to their formal education, Cara has also obtained several certifications. In December 2016, they received a Social Marketing Certification from Hootsuite. Cara then obtained a Digital Business Management Certification from DBM Bootcamp in June 2020. Most recently, in April 2023, they obtained a Certified Professional Retirement Coach certification from the Retirement Coaches Association.
